• Welcome to Laremont Transition

The transition program at Laremont School addresses the needs of the students ranging in ages from 18-22.

When a young adult reaches this age, the transition program provides the students an opportunity to prepare for post graduation.  The curriculum and classes provide learning experiences that will increase success after the young adult graduates.  The program is constantly evolving to provide the best direction for successful outcome.

The transition program always takes into account each student's transition plan and we work to carry out the goals that have been developed for the student with the help of the parents.  Everyday these goals are addressed in each area the student is working.

Transitioning to post graduation can be a frightening time for the student as well as the parents.  That is why the program at Laremont is always looking for and providing ways to make that transition a success.  It involves a team of teachers, administration, related service personnel, students, and parents working together throughout the transition years.
