Ms. Teresa Hagedorn

I graduated from Illinois State University in 2006 with a bachelors degree in Special Education. I earned my masters degree in Educational Leadership in 2010, from Northeastern Illinois University. I started my teaching career at Cyd Lash Academy and this is my twelfth year and each day I love it more and more. Throughout my tenure at Cyd Lash Academy, I have taught various subjects in various programs. This year I was able to start on a new adventure in my career by becoming a middle school teacher. I am excited to instruct students in ways they can utilize technology and prepare them for high school.

George Singleton is the paraprofessional in the classroom.  He says, "I have worked at SEDOL since 2004 in a variety of schools, ages and classroom settings. I work hard to help each student achieve their goals at Cyd Lash Academy. A key focus is on treating each student as a peer when possible.  They see themselves as adults and like to be treated with respect."
