Welcome to Janice Bahe’s Class

Where Junior High Rocks!

During the month of February we are learning about our country long ago.  We've enjoyed making teepees and log cabins.  Early Americans sure had to work hard!  They had to build their houses, make their own clothes and grow or hunt their food. Kids even had to work before they went to school and then they had to walk to school because there were no buses!!

Next month we are looking forward to lots of cool math lessons like geometry, algebra and data analysis!!

Stay Warm!

Welcome to the Superstars of Room 212

Junior High Rocks!!!

My name is Janice Klein and this is my third year at Laremont School.  I have worked for SEDOL over 25 years.  I was a teacher in a self-contained special education classroom at Wauconda High School for 13 years.  Then I took my skills on the road traveling to schools all over Lake County as an itinerant teacher for students with orthopedic impairments and traumatic brain injuries.  However, nothing compares to the last three years at Laremont School.  I feel truly blessed to be working with so many outstanding staff and families.  I look forward to coming to work each day!!

We will be learning many new things this year through our Unique Curriculum.  Our monthly mobility trips will take us to many exciting locations like Lambs Farm, the movie theater, grocery stores and other fun places where we can practice the skills we learned in the classroom in the community.  Each month we look forward to preparing food to share at our Pod Lunch.  We get together with all our other junior high friends to eat and hang out in our pod.  It's always a super fun time.  We are looking forward to a great year!!
