• About Therapeutic Interventions

     
  • Gages Lake School is a public therapeutic day school. Instruction is provided in small groups within the classroom based upon individual student needs. Individualized assistance is provided across academic, behavioral and emotional domains. Performance data is collected on a daily basis and Problem Solving Meetings are held twice monthly to discuss academic and behavioral concerns within the classroom. The classrooms utilize Positive Behavior Supports (PBS), Character Education, visual progress monitoring of behavior, and a combination of whole-class and individual instruction. The teacher and the paraprofessional interact frequently with each student during structured and semi-structured times.
