Operations & Maintenance

The Operations and Maintenance Department advances SEDOL’s mission of providing Exceptional Services to Exceptional Students by Exceptional Staff by assuming responsibility for leadership, guidance, and support in the following areas of district operations:  

  • Maintaining current health and life safety standards
  • Providing daily maintenance/preventive maintenance in the 7 SEDOL facilities
  • District wide purchasing/deliveries
  • Door access/Keys/Fobs/Building Alarms
  • Sector Support and building/equipment moves
  • Custodial (in-house) services
  • Meeting and Event set-up/ coordination
  • Assembly and distribution of purchased equipment
  • Snow removal/Salting of sidewalks and lots
  • Lawn service management
  • Pest service management
  • Coordination of school safety drills
  • Maintenance of operations and mobility vehicles
  • Managing multiple Building Automation Systems
