• Response to Intervention (RTI)

     
  • A Response to Intervention (RTI) Model is utilized to address the academic, behavioral and emotional needs of students. Students are screened at least yearly in math, reading and social-emotional functioning. Based upon data, students who are behind expectations in any area are either assigned to Tier 2 interventions or Problem-Solved by their educational team to determine appropriate Tier 3 individual interventions. Students receiving Tier 2 or 3 interventions have specific progress monitoring data gathered and analyzed by the team to determine the effectiveness of the intervention and to modify the intervention to increase its effectiveness.
