Brittany Smith, M.S. CCC-SLP/L

Hi! My name is Brittany and I started working at John Powers Center in 2019. I am one of the speech language pathologists in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program. I grew up in Lake County and went to Grayslake North High School where our DHH high school students attend. Prior to receiving my masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Elmhurst University, I received my bachelors from the University of Illinois. I am licensed in the state of Illinois and am an active member of the American Speech and Hearing Association. My passions include language and literacy. The best thing about being a speech language pathologist is watching communication improve every year!
