• Food Service Information

SEDOL participates in the National School Lunch Program and partners with certified food service vendors  to provide meals to our students.  For more information about the National School Lunch Program please consider visiting the following links (English/Spanish).

As you may be aware, the USDA waivers allowing all students to receive their meals at no charge expired June 30, 2022.  As a result, meals will once again be charged at the rate of $3.10 for lunch and $1.50 for breakfast. Students who qualify for reduced meals will be charged .40 cents for lunch and .30 cents for breakfast.

In the event that families are experiencing financial difficulties, they are encouraged to complete an application for their child(ren) to be considered for free or reduced meal eligibility at their school.   Application materials are sent home each summer along with registration materials and can also be found here (English/Spanish).  Families can complete and submit an application for free or reduced meals at any time during the school year.

Families can return fully completed free or reduced meal applications in one of three ways:

    • Delivering completed applications to the attention of Linda Davis at the SEDOL administrative offices at 18160 Gages Lake Road, Gages Lake IL 60030 in person.

    • Mailing completed applications to the attention of Linda Davis at 18160 Gages Lake Road, Gages Lake IL 60030.

    • E-mailing completed applications to Linda Davis at ldavis@sedol.us.

Families are required to pre-pay each month for their child(ren) to participate  at their designated school.  Please contact your child’s school office for payment information and menus.

If you have any questions about the meal service program, please contact Linda Davis at 847-986-2309 or ldavis@sedol.us.
