Ms. Kira Yonek

Hi there! My name is Ms. Kira Yonek. I live in Grayslake but grew up in Northern Ohio. I started at Laremont as a paraprofessional while I was in school and am returning now as a teacher after continuing my education. I'm so excited to be your child's High School teacher this year and cannot wait to see what this school year has in store for us! A little bit about me: I have the sweetest and silliest puppy named Oaklynn. In my freetime I love watching movies, snowboarding, listening to music while cleaning the house (I also love cleaning and organizing), taking Oaklynn to the lake, and spending time with my nieces and nephews. In 2017, I graduated from Trinity International University with my Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education. I am currenty pursuing my Masters in Advanced Special Education Practices from Nothern Illinois University.
