Transition Program Overview:
The Transition Program serves students with disabilities between the ages of 18 through 21 years old. The major focus of our program is promoting a cooperative, instructional partnership among family, school, community, and adult service agencies. The goal is to prepare young adults to become participating members of their communities. SEDOL's Transition staff is dedicated to providing a life skills/vocational curriculum, community learning, resources and services to support individualized post-secondary independence.
The Special Education District of Lake County has adopted the Mission statement;
"Exceptional Services for Exceptional Students"
All learners lead productive, responsible and healthy lives.
