    Dr. Laura Wojcik is the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. Dr. Wojcik began her career with the Special Education District of Lake County (SEDOL) in 1997 as a special education teacher where she remained for ten years. She has served first as an Assistant Supervisor and then as the North Sector Supervisor supporting specialized programs from early childhood through high school prior to becoming Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services.  In 2021, she was hired as the district's Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources. Dr. Wojcik is a member of many professional organizations including the Council for Exceptional Children, the Illinois Alliance of Administrators of Special Education, and the Lake County Curriculum Resource Council.
