Ms. Kelsey

All students at Laremont School have group music therapy sessions at least twice weekly. The program is staffed by Ms. Kelsey.  Both are board-certified music therapists as well as K-12 licensed music teachers.  Music therapy sessions incorporate classroom curriculum, seasonal activities, and also address communication, social, academic, motor and music skills.  The music therapy program includes a chime choir whose members give several performances a year. Guitar and piano classes have recently been added to the music therapy schedule for select students.  Some classes are also involved in the SAMIS performance and awards show in the spring.
