They also participate in universal screening and progress monitoring to assess academic and social-emotional growth for the purpose of identifying students who might require additional interventions. Consultation is provided to educational teams and parents to assist in appropriate programming for students, and direct services are provided to many special education programs in the form of individual and group counseling.
