Administration
SEDOL’s administrative structure includes the Superintendent who serves as the Illinois State Board of Education authorized Director of Special Education responsible for implementation of special education programs in SEDOL member districts consistent with the requirements of Article 14 of The Illinois School Code. In addition to the Superintendent, the central office administrative team includes the Assistant Superintendent of: Curriculum & Assessment, Director of Human Resources, Assistant Superintendent of Instruction, and Director of Business Services.

Principals and Supervisors administer building programs, satellite classrooms, and support services. In addition, Support Service Coordinators in the areas of Audiology, Nursing, Occupational and Physical Therapy, Vocational Services, Psychology, Social Work, and Speech/Language provide technical assistance in each of their respective areas of expertise.
